Updates

I did try dyeing self striping yarn and it came out great! I followed the directions fron this site and it came out perfect.

I love her site. She is just too good. I can't wait until she publishes the pattern for her argyle socks. They're just great.

Dyeing the yarn was the easy part, the hard part was winding the skein and measuring everything out. I only dyed a small amount to get the hang of it.

Here's the Embossed Leaves socks from IK winter issue. I used Koigu KPPPM color P404 20. I did 1 full repeat instead of 3 before starting the heel and completed the sock as written.

While I was at my brother's a week ago, I saw this across the street. Yup, a dog on the roof. He was barking at all the cars going by.

When I lived in Mexico I had to get used to dogs that lived on the roof. That is truly something to fear that your head is going to be attacked by a dog when you walk by. Smile.
Those embossed leaves socks look great!
Knit on!
