For some really good stuff! I have been working and knitting, knitting and working and there's so much to show for it! Since I have a lot of down time at work, I like to bring socks to knit. I work on several different socks at one time and usually, I'll get 3-4 pairs finished at the same time. I really want to finish these socks ASAP because I purchased a few sock kits. More on those later.
First up is a single Jaywalker. I have casted on for the mate, maybe I'll get around to finishing it some time next week.
Next up is a single purl-less Monkey. I'm sure you guys know where to find the pattern. It has been linked several times :). For some reason, these were a super quick knit and only took me about 4 hours from start to finish. More details when I finish the mate.
So, I tried knitting the Nutkin pattern with different yarn and it came out spiraling like all heck. I tried knitting them toe-up and it has been lovely since then. I also changed the pattern and reversed it to come up with a wavy cable and also used Wendy's heel formula from this pattern. These will be finished tonight at work :). More details when they are finished.
Last week, Grumperina posted about a super unique yarn made from the colors she chose. I totally jumped on it and ordered some along with a set of sz 2 needles (these are my new fave!!!) and I can't wait to get into these!
Ok. So you made it this far. I really wanted to get my hands on some wollmeise and after missing TLE sneak-up with it, I decided to order from Yarnissima. Take about super fast shipping!! I ordered on the 4th and it was on my doorstep 7 days later! I've ordered from yarn shops in the US and they took longer!! The kits I ordered were Spina de Pesce and La Digitessa.
OMG. This yarn is soooooooo yummy. I can see why everyone is going crazy for it. I'm glad I ordered it. I have to finish knitting the other socks in progress before I get into these. Her patterns are so detailed and in depth that I just might knit on these socks alone.
I hope this was worth the wait! More goodies tomorrow!!!!

Your socks are beautiful! And 4 hours for a monkey? That's crazy-fast! It took me for-ev-er to knit a pair...
