Dye-O-Rama

So I finally got my hands back in the dye pot and came up with this.

The first two are for my dye buddy and I've named that colorway Bejeweled. I used Dale Baby Ull and it took the colors great. Oh, for the dyes itself, I used Wilton's.The next is called Jubilee and there's about 50 g of that. I guess I can make a pair of footsies with it or something. The last colorwa y I didn't name yet.

A close up of my dye buddy's yarn.

Blogger Sucks

I hate how blogger only allows you to upload 5 pics at a time. Ugh. So annoying. But anywho.. here's a pair that I finished ealier this month.
Pattern: Fall 05 IK I forget the name of the pattern
Yarn: Trekking XXL
Needles: size 1 DPN
Modifications: added 2 extra repeats of 10 sts, so I c/o 80 sts.

The other pair that I finished was the Embossed Leaves socks from the Winter IK.

This was some dye your own form Knit Picks and kool aid. I can't wait to get started knitting socks with it.

This is what was sent to me from my sp. She really spoiled me!! The color didn't show up well but it is artyarn in a purple shade! I just love it! Thanks so much sp!

I'll leave you with a pic of my kitties. Boots (black and white) and Tigre (dark grey). They drive me crazy but keep me sane at the same time.

Here Kitty, Kitty

Here's a pic of Garfield (my brother's rescue kitty) on my lap. He is soooo cute and friendly! He's getting over a cold ut besides that, he's o.k. Oh yeah, did I mention, HE IS HUGE!! Like 16 lbs huge. And so furry! But none of that matters b/c he's CUTE!

Here are the socks that I lost back in January. After being gone for a day, the cats found it along with a set of bamboo dpn's. What luck! They are finished now and I'm wearing them. This month has been a record sock knitting month for me. I've completed 3 pairs this month (started them last month) and I have 2 pairs that I'm knitting now (one for me, one for HWDT).
Here's the pico shirt that I started in January for the Sexy Knitters KAL. I finished it and gave it to my mom. She liked it more than I did and it fit her like a glove. I think I'll knit one for myself with 3/4 sleeves and in navy or black.

I started dyeing yarn for the Dye O Rama swap and its fun!!
This is the first one. I ordered the yarn from Wool2dye4. She had great prices and a fast delivery!
