Yay!!

I have the camera cord... so here are the pics! This is the scarf that my ISE angel, Marylin, sent me. She also included a lace bookmark, a hand made card and the leftover yarn. Thank you, again!

I know I've been slacking on my Sockret Pal knitting... Here's what I have so far.
I haven't touched it in a out a month and the end of the swap is coming soon! I think I have 2 complete pattern repeats done and two more to go before i start the heel. I love the pattern and I can't wait to knit myself a pair!

Lots of knitting has been going on! Here's a sneak peek at what's OTN.

Plain vanilla socks on sz 1's in CTH Jewels.

Trekking XXL "Gothic" on sz 1's. Online Supersock i don't remember the colorway on sz 1's. The mates of these socks are finished. I just need to graft the toes! The Trekking socks will be shipped to my sister. She's serving in Iraq and I'm sure she would love anything from home!

Here are the guys. They're actually being nice! They look so cute all snuggled up and sleeping!

Happy Knitting!

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaack!

With no pics :((. I have no idea where the cord is to plug the camera into the pc, so, pics will have to wait.

If I did have the cord, there would be pics of the 3 pairs of socks that I've finished, my sockret pal socks (I started the 2nd sock and I am now working 2 socks on 1 circ), another pair of socks from the Sensation Knitted Socks book, an entrelac scarf, an almost complete Leaf Lace Shawl and a pair of clogs. Maybe I'll try to take pics with my phone later.

If I did have the cord, I would also be able to post about the best KMSK EVER!! Thank you so much Ann!! I loved every bit of it. I am now using the bag to carry around a scarf and socks that I'm working on.

If I did have the cord, I would be able to show pics of my ISE angel package from Marylin. Thank you so much for being a great angel!

Thanks for the nice comments!

Questions???

When I joined the Sockret Pal Exchange, I had no idea what pattern I would use for my spoilee. Then, Eunny posted the Bayerische sock pattern and I knew it was the one! I purchased the yarn in October after reading some good reviews about it on a few other blogs. I am using Regia Silk in a burgundy color and so far, it knits (and frogs) very well!

I cast on for the sock on sz 0's first. After completing the 13 rows of ktbl, p1, I tackled the increase rows. I don't know what I did the first time, but it came out all wrong! I gave up and started looking for other patterns to try out for her.

Nothing worked. I must have frogged this yarn at least 5 times with other patterns not counting the times that I messed up and tried to fix it.

So here we are, 2 months later a little wiser and more careful and the sock looks great so far. I casted on sz 1's and it is flowing much easier for me and it is still super pretty and shiny! I am so glad I'm sticking the pattern out and knitting these for my pal.

I will most likely knit (at least) a pair for myself in some super yummy yarn as soon as I'm finished hers. I'm taking my time with these socks, so I don't make any mistakes ans will have them finished by the end of the exchange.

So the question is... If you were my pal, would you like these socks??

I just wanted to send a big Thank You to Claire, my Knitters Review Swap pal. I'll post on what she sent tomorrow as well!
